A calm clinic, a steady team
Smile and Shining has looked after PJ families since 2015 from our clinic in Damansara Utama. Here is a look at the space, how we keep it clean, the tools we use, and the people you will meet.
The space
Room to feel settled
The waiting area is quiet and unrushed, with natural light and space to sit comfortably. Treatment rooms are private, and we keep the clinic tidy and calm through the day.
We are on Jalan SS 21/37 in Uptown Damansara, close to SS2, Kota Damansara, TTDI and Mutiara Damansara, with parking nearby.

Hygiene and sterilisation
Clean, checked and repeated
Infection control is a fixed routine, not an afterthought. It is the same for every patient, every visit.
- Instruments cleaned, pouched and sterilised in an autoclave between patients
- Sterilisation cycles monitored and logged
- Single-use items where that is the safer choice
- Surfaces wiped down and barriers changed between appointments
- Hand hygiene and fresh gloves for every patient

Tools that help us explain
We use digital equipment mainly so we can show you what we see and plan treatment accurately.
Low-dose digital x-rays
Digital x-rays use a low radiation dose and appear on screen in seconds, so we can look at areas between and below the teeth and talk them through with you.
Planning
We plan with models and scans
For restorative and orthodontic work, we plan on models and digital scans first. That means fewer surprises during treatment and a clearer picture for you before you agree to anything.

The people you will see
All three are registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
A small team, on purpose
Keeping the team small means you tend to see the same dentist each visit, and your dentist knows your history without needing to start from scratch every time.
Dr. Nadia Rahim
BDS (UM), general and family dentistry
Nadia looks after everyday care for all ages and has a special interest in helping nervous patients feel at ease. She works slowly, explains each step before it happens, and is happy to pause at any point.
Dr. Lim Wei Sheng
BDS (IMU), crowns, bridges and implants
Wei Sheng focuses on rebuilding and replacing teeth, from single crowns to implants. He plans carefully with scans and models, and takes time to walk patients through each stage and its cost.
Dr. Priya Suresh
BDS (Manipal), orthodontics
Priya works with braces and clear aligners for teens and adults. She is straightforward about what treatment can and cannot do, the likely timeline, and how to keep teeth healthy while they move.
